![]() ![]() Simply make a bunch of overlapping circles, select all of them, then click on “Arrange” and “Unite” to create a solid icon that you can now change into multiple colors. Let’s say you are wanting to make a cloud icon different than the one in the shapes kit. However, there may be times when the icon you are looking for is not in Keynote. All of these icons can be manipulated, edited, color formatted, and broken apart. With the latest iOS11 update there is now a bevy of new icons available. Here are a few things I bet you didn’t know you could do with Keynote: 1. Even in rooms with the most polished Keynote users, I always show them something they didn’t know they could do with it. I’ve even starting teaching some “Keynote Master Class” courses for teachers and coaches in my district and at other events that I’m a part of. Other ones you can do include an e-mail message and what this will do is open up the default e-mail client for that user, and start a message addressed to this e-mail address with this subject, you can also have it linked to a separate page's document anywhere on the hard drive. Now, if I go back up to this hyperlink here, I can change it to instead of running into a webpage, link to a bookmark and select that bookmark from the drop-down list here, now when you click on it jumps right to that bookmark piece of text and that also works in a. You can also change a hyperlink's tune to other things, for instance you can use bookmarks, let's scroll down here for a bit, and take the beginning of a paragraph and add a bookmark here, press the "plus" sign and it will add the bookmark to the list of bookmarks. If you ever want to get rid of that, you can select it and using that same inspector over here, you can turn off "Enable as hyperlink" and, now that's no longer a hyperlink piece of text. And when you copy some text from a website, let's just copy this paragraph here from MacMost site, and I paste it in a new page's documents, I get the hyperlink that's here, so you can see I can click on that there, I can click on this one here. This even works with the export to e-pub format, so you can add hyperlinks in there, and someone can load them up to their iPhone or iPad and iBooks and the link will actually work. ![]() ![]() Just to do a quick export to the desktop, there's my file, I double-click on it, it will launch preview, there's the link there, I click on it, it will launch my browser, and go to the page. PDF that has that hyperlink embedded in there. PDF and when you do that, you'll actually get a. Now, the great thing about this, you can export this page's document to, say as a. Link to a webpage, other options we'll talk about here, and then change the URL to what you want, and that's it, just deselect the text and you can see it remains linked there, and it's actually a live link, you can click on it and it will open up your web browser right now and go that page. And you still have that text selector over here, and you simply check off "Enable as hyperlink". You wanna make sure you've selected hyperlink. Then, there's some subsections in here: Hyperlink, Bookmark, Merge. Then you have all the tabs on the top, you want to go the second to the last one, the link tab. So, to insert a basic hyperlink into a page's document, first select the text, then open the Inspector, you can do that by pressing the button here or going to view -> show inspector.
